Even though I love my city, New York is definitely where I belong. From the fashion to food to the city that never sleeps, it screams for me to stay. The first day there I was able to explore the city with the traveling bunny, Bernardine. We walked through the streets of Harlem, hopped on probably one of the weirdest metro systems I've ever experienced in the world into the meatpacking district, to try one of the first foodie places on my list;
Black Tap. They probably had one of the best veggie burgers I've ever tried. I ordered the falafel burger but in the Mexican style. The falafel burger didn't taste like your average falafel, that thing literally tasted like a burger. Every bite I took, I couldn't help but annoy Bernardine on how good it tasted. Hahaha. We then ordered our milkshakes, which were bigger than the size of our heads. I ordered the Sweet and Sour milkshake and Berna ordered the Cotton Candy milkshake.
We then walked around the city to explore, and ended up coming across Union Square's market place. I was wearing my NY and Company black leggings with my white and black Nike sneakers. Underneath my black Leather jacket from Nordstrom was my black sleeveless banana republic mock neck sweater and the scarf over my jacket was from Banana republic as well. My scarf wrapped in a turban style was from Love Culture and hoop earrings were from NY and Company. Lipstick was by Colourpop Cosmetics in the color 'More Better'.
The Traveling Bunny wore a Blue Bowler hat by H&M and a scarf wrapped in a turban by Pashmina. Her denim stipe button down top was by H&M and high waist distressed jeans were from Forever 21 Plus. Her vintage jean jacket was by the Gap and choker was by Charlotte Russe. Her open toe denim platform sandals and over the shoulder spring purse were from My Spring Shoes.
The next day, my friends and I did an all leather jacket look. We all wore something with a leather jacket added to it. Well, I sorta of forced them to do this look for my blog. Hahaha. Gotta love them, because they did it for me. =)
My mustard Sloan dress pants are from Banana Republic and navy blue Lily scoop neck shirt is from Chico's Outlet. My leather green jacket is by Blank NYC sold in Nordstrom. My Choker is from Forever 21 and booties are from Kenneth Cole Collection. My scarf wrapped in a turban is from Macy's and gold hoop earrings are from Ny and Company.
My Twin sister wore a black knit dress and all black leather jacket by Zara. Her boots were by G by Guess and over the knee socks were from Nordstrom.
Natalia wore her denim jeans and Leather jacket from a cute boutique in Brazil. Her brown booties were by XOXO and black long sleeve shirt was from H&M.
Bernardine wore a Mustard colored Jumpsuit, called River Island Belted Culotte from
Asos.com. Her leather biker jacket is from H&M and shoes are by Michael Kors.
We also ended up having an inside joke.
Later on that day we ended up at a cool spot Called the
Spot Deseret bar. These deserts were very delicious and unique. If you are in NY I highly recommend it.
They also have booba tea served in a light bulb.
We then went out to a spot called Up & Down. One of the Night clubs in the Meat Packing district.
I decided to wear an all white outfit that night. My white pants are from NY & Company and Metallic gold heels were by Steve Madden Outlet. My all white lily scoop 3/4 sleeve shirt was from Chico's Outlet and all white with Grey/white fur was from
White House Black Market. Rose gold jewelry were from NY & Company and white pashmina scarf wrapped in a turban style was from Macy's. My lipstick was by Colourpop Cosmetics in the color 'Privacy Please'.
Thea wore an emerald green romper by Necessary Clothing.
Bernardine wore a satin Wrap Maxi Dress by Jordyn Woods for Boohoo Plus but purchased on Asos.com. Her shoes were by Aldo Shoes.
Natalia wore a beautiful dress from Forever 21 and necklace was from Aldo Accessories.
The next day we ended up going to brunch at Loosies Kitchen in Brooklyn, NY. It was a cute little spot for brunch. I wore light blue ankle jeans by Ann Taylor and my blush lace top by Forever 21. The shirt I wore underneath was my tan lily scoop neck 3/4 sleeve top from Chico's Outlet and my sneakers were by Nike. My scarf wrapped in a turban was by Love Culture and jewelry was by NY & Company. Thea wore a coat by BooHoo.com and her leather jogger pants by H&M. Her crop top was by Misguided. The traveling bunny herself wore her cream colored fur vest by Forever 21 and Ripped jeans were from the Nicki Minaj Collection. Her shoes were by Michael Kors.
Later that day we finally got to try this bubble tea spot I've been wanting to try out since last year. ViVi Bubble Tea. I literally fell in love. This was the most prettiest thing I've ever eaten. It was Taro bubble tea with bobba at the bottom, topped with Cotton Candy that had Pop Rocks all over it. My mouth was popping. I also got their macroons in the flavors: Rose Lychee, Lavender Honey and Green Matcha.
The next day I spent it with my best friend and twin sister, Thea. We explored Soho and grabbed some delicious cuban food from Cafe Havana.
We then walked through Times Square right before we said our good byes. =(
Thea wore an all black ribbed dress by Necessary Clothing and a grey sweater by H&M. Her jacket was from Zara and fur vest was from an unknown boutique.
I wore a long nude dress by Forever 21 and a tan fur knitted vest from Macy's. I wore these light grey tights that I cut to make into leggings underneath with high top socks from H&M. I wore my Kenneth Cole heel booties and long duster from BooHoo. My turban is from love Culture and jewelry is by NY & Company.
