A quick get away trip to California with my girls, before my bestie ties the knot. When landing in LA the first thing anyone should do is grab some In & Out. I ordered the Double cheese burger, a regular burger and some cheesy fries. I was not a big fan of the freshly cut fries, but their double cheeseburger hit the spot after a 6 hour flight.
My first outfit for our drive to the San Diego African Safari Zoo were nude high waisted skinny jeans. Tucked in was a matching nude long sleeve top and a long powder blue chiffon Cardigan. All three items were from Forever 21. My beige colored heels were from DSW shoes. My rose gold necklace and earrings were from New York and Company.
The San Diego Zoo: African Safari Theme, was an amazing experience.
Later that night we checked out a local Italian restaurant and downtown San diego area. I wore a black leather skirt from Forever 21, tights from New York and Company, and my black and white scarf from Francesca's. I also wore my crystal choker from Forever 21 and a black string Choker from Aldo Accessories. My earrings were from Charolette Russe. My lipstick is called 'Privacy Please' by Colourpop Cosmetics.
The next day we went out for Brunch at 'Sugar and Scribe'. It is a local bakery that creates beautiful cakes and pastries, but, also has a restaurant inside it, that makes amazing Brunch. We ordered a 'Kensington Benedict' (instead of ham, it had smoked Salmon inside), a 'Cali Benedict', and a 'Blazin Banshee Skillet' (It had a Mexican style taste. Super spicy but delicious). We also wanted to try their sweet brunch options which led us to try their 'Brioche French Toast' (French toast with jelly, syrup and fruits. Super light and filled with flavor.) and 'Flutternutter' (Peanut butter and Fluff with some type of jelly. Was soooo delicious!). They also gave us complimentary cupcakes and butter from Finland! If you are ever in La Jolla, I highly recommend this place for Brunch!!
We then drove down to La Jolla Cove.
The next place we visited was Tory Pines, in San Diego. It was beautiful to go hiking by the water, while walking past deep ridges in the ground caused by earthquakes.
The pictures above are from our second night out in San diego. We went to a Mexican Restaurant and then an Arab hookah lounge right after. We got some amazing tea and desert and played games the whole entire night. My dress was from Ann Loft. My heels were from DSW and my earrings were from Aldo Accessories. My Choker and under shirt were from Forever 21. The next day we set out to LA, and checked out the Pink Wall and Santa Monica Pier. My outfit in LA was my satin button down top from Chico's Outlet store and my white dress pants were from New York and Company. I wore my white sandals from Steve Madden and sun glasses from Aldo Accessories. My triangle hoop earrings and necklace were from Aldo Shoes. My turban was from Express Factory.
