Three Make Up Artists, Five events

Over the last several months, I've been super busy and took a short break from blogging. I've been wanting to write a blog on the three makeup artists, whom made me look flawlessly beautiful for the five weddings, I attended back in April. The first make up artist was the very talented and creative, Laura Bell. She is one of MAC's make up artist at the Burlington Mall, in Burlington, MA. When I first saw Laura, I was in awe at how she did her own make up. I knew right then and there that she was going to make me look beautiful. I am probably the most pickiest person ever when it comes to my hair, make up and nails. Haha. If you know me, you would know this about me. Instantly, Laura knew what she was going to do with my make up. I was her canvas, and let me tell you she made me look like a work of art.
For the first wedding she created a purple/silvery color look for my lids. Purple eyeshadow tones, really bring out my eye color. If you are someone who has hazel or green eyes, purple eyeshadow is always the perfect choice, to make that green pop out.
Not only was Laura very talented but she was extremely humble, and made me feel very comfortable. We chatted the whole time, getting to know one another briefly. I loved Laura so much, I ended up seeing her two more times after the first wedding I had attended. The second time that I had seen Laura, she ended up doing a holographic look on my lids. I wore a simple dress for the wedding she was doing my make up for. So, I needed something to spruce up my dress; And what better way of doing that, other than having my make up be... Kaboom!
The outside lighting with the sun, made my lid color in the photos look exactly how it looked in real life. The indoor lighting does it no justice.
Here are the photos with the outdoor lighting, right before I went home to change into my dress for the wedding.
The third wedding, Laura created a cut crease look. It was the first time, I had ever had anyone create a cut crease look on my eyelids. Again, my dress for this wedding was simple, so I needed something different, to add a hint of delight in my life.
This cut crease look made me feel like an Egyptian goddess.
If you are ever interested in booking Laura to do your make up, you can follow her Instagram account, @daydream_tendencies or call the MAC store in Burlington Mall. The number for that particular MAC store is, (781)-272-7060. Below is a photo of Laura.
The second make up artist that had done my make up for one of the weddings was Neha. She also works for the MAC store in Burlington Mall and you can call either the Burlington Mall number or follow her Instagram account, @shinebyneha.
My dress looked like a princess's dress in a fairytale movie. Neha made my make up look and feel like I was a princess in a Disney movie.
Below is a photo of Neha.
The final make up artist, but let me tell you not the least was Michelle Vasco, aka MiVa. MiVa is an amazingly talented artist, who's creativity truly shows through her work. I described what my dress looked like to MiVa, and she took it to another level. I loved how rosy and golden I looked. The choices of colors that MiVa had chosen from eyeshadow colors, to highlighters and blushes made me look like I was a flourishing, pink rose. MiVa is a makeup artist, who shows how passionate she is about making those around her feel and look beautiful. She is someone who is very humble about her work, but her spirit exhibits her love for makeup artistry. She took her time making sure my make up was done perfectly. She is someone I would love to have do my make up again. Below are the photos of my make up by Mi.Va, right before I changed into my dress.
I mean seriously look at that glow!!!!
These are photos of my make up with the dress I wore to the wedding.
Below, is a photo of MiVa. You can follow her Instagram, @mi.va_ for Business inquiries and subscribe to her vlog, MIVA LifeStyle.

Bridal Shower Attire

All week I am freaking out trying to figure out what to wear for one of my good friend's, sisters bridal shower. I decided to kill time after my hair appointment by going into the H&M on Newbury street. The entire time I was thinking of wearing something out of my closet for the shower. When I was ready to leave I saw this beautiful light, minty blue lace dress. I thought to myself, "Hey you can never go wrong with a classy, lace dress for a Bridal Shower." I ended up trying it on in the fitting room for size purposes and immediately fell in love. The dress cost me $129.00, and the material did not feel cheap at all. It felt like something I would have purchased at Nordstrom. This dress is not only perfect for bridal showers, but could also be worn to a wedding or an afternoon tea party with your closest girl friends.
